    voice- midlevel
    purpose- to communicate an opinion on a subject

    SHORT STORY- short in length, plot, characters, point/moral, conflict and resolution
    voice- informal, sarcastic or humorous or serious
    purpose- to entertain or communicate an idea about a situation

    * Poetry: rhyme, stanzas, reference to emotion, decription.
    Monologue: Short(ish), awareness of audience, expression of feelings, and expression of attitude towards subject(s).
    Letter: Salutation, relatively short, transference of information regarding a particular subject or subjects, and closure.
    Play: Act(s), a given setting, stage directions, and background on characters.
